workshops
We offer you the opportunity, at no extra charge, to take part in workshops up to 12 hours a week. These will be tailor-made to your needs by our Workshop Manager, the famous Swedish bass Nikke Strom , and delivered by your favorite top Acts and musicians - just bring along your own instrument or, if a drummer, your own sticks.
Remember! Places on our workshops are limited and will be adjudicated on a strictly first come first served basis.

Jamming
Proper Jamming sessions will take place at the Village Blues every night after the main gig, on the vast terrace overlooking the beach, with the backdrop of the sea.
On Friday nights a 30 minutes gala performance by each of the Acts who played during that week will be preceeded by short performances by guests attending our workshops. Jamming will follow by some of the young artists sponsored through the parallel Olive Tree Project. Literally hours of relaxed fun and many more opportunities for genuine talent spotting .
Impromptu Jamming We anticipate that participating musicians and guests of the 2013 Festival & Holiday, just like the musicians of the Blues Move Band 2011 who toured this splendid part of Calabria with us last year, will find the atmosphere of the Blues Village so inspiring that impromptu jamming will flourish everywhere and anywhere in the Blues Village.

bluesmove announce the new london venue!
Always up for a new challenge, Bluesmove Promotions are commencing a new night at Charlie's Wine Bar, 26 New Cross Road,. That's above the Charlie Chaplin pub at Elephant and Castle. We're starting on Saturday 27th October and we'll be looking to do a fortnightly gig for starters. See the Blues Move @ The Charlie page on here for regular updates. We're still in the process of booking but we already have some great names who have agreed to play!
